Inspired by its tender and buttery quality, the city’s top chefs are eager to showcase the ambrosial meat and share their delicious recipes. The American Lamb Jam Tour is excited to extend this passion and present the second annual Lamb Jam San Francisco.
Set amongst a forest grove overlooking the San Francisco Bay, this year’s event will be held at the Presidio’s Golden Gate Club. Stroll from table to table—including such esteemed restaurant venues as Tacolicious, Grand Cafe, and Oola Restaurant—and take in the talent as chefs create delectable lamb samplings. While indulging in generous portions, sip on plentiful pours from 30 Paso Robles wineries and several local beer companies and revel in the lively atmosphere.
And what better way to spend an afternoon than watching a little friendly competition? Participate in awarding the “People’s Choice” award to the most deserving chef. Or, sit back and relax while Shepard Don Watson and Chef Matthew Accarrino perform a butchering demonstration and Chef John Fink gives his renowned Whole Beast presentation, which yields savory lamb gyros tastings. Whether addicted to burgers or a chicken finger connoisseur, Lamb Jam is the ideal destination to spice up your lamb life.
