Rock Hall is a 10,000 square foot manor house in Connecticut's Litchfield Hills and Southern Berkshires. Designed at the turn of the century by Addison Mizner for Jerome Alexandre of the Alexandre Steam Ship Lines, the house has been lovingly restored by innkeepers Stella and Michael Somers.
Soak in the Jacuzzi, enjoy a martini over a game of billiards, or watch a movie in the private screening room. Wander Rock Hall's sprawling grounds, which boast perennial gardens, massive trees, and a tennis court. Then retire to your exquisitely appointed room, where you can soak in a giant claw foot tub before falling asleep to the crackle and pop of a roaring fire.
Stella and Michael prepare a Mediterranean-inspired breakfast to start your day, which might find you antiquing, skiing, golfing, taking in a show, or even flyfishing. But with activities like seasonal blueberry and apple picking available at Rock Hall, you may never want to leave.

"Our room was so comfortable, the house enormous - we watched a movie in the private screening room, played in the billiard room and generally felt at home." - nn510, New York, NY
"Whether you want to swim, ski, antique, shop in Berkshires, watch a movie in the in-house theater room, listen to music in town or just sit by the fire and read, Rock Hall is a great place to stay." - NewYorkFamily, New York, NY
