Juicy patty, velvety cheese, crisp lettuce, fresh tomato, and a griddle-kissed bun—few things in the world compare to the simple, undeniable pleasures of a perfectly constructed cheeseburger. Redefining this legendary lunchable with Californian ingredients and Japanese refinement, Fukuburger has quickly skyrocketed to Los Angeles’ venerable burger pantheon.
The first brick-and-mortar incarnation of Colin Fukunaga and Robert “Mags” Magsalin’s insanely popular Las Vegas burger truck by the same name, Fukuburger introduces an unheralded spin to LA’s competitive burger scene. A funky Japanese manga-inspired atmosphere belies Fukuburger’s tongue-in-cheek nod to its Asian roots, adding its indelible mark on six mouthwatering renditions on the classic burger.
Retaining its all-American essence, the namesake Fukuburger, along with its delectable cousins, offers an epicurean exercise in simplicity imbued with the Japanese penchant for perfection. Far East flavors are coaxed from a wealth of Japanese infusions—miso, mirin, wasabi, pickled red ginger, yuzu—studding each edible mash-up and transforming this cross-cultural phenomenon into a burger-fiend’s new best friend.

“This place is quite unique. Delicious Japanese-style burgers. I've never encountered anything like this before. The vibe inside this place is just really relaxing and a chill place to hang with friends.”
“This is the best burger I’ve had in LA. Quite possibly ever. I've had them all, Umami, Stout, Father's Office, Golden State, Short Order... and up until this point Umami had been the clear winner, but it just got displaced.”
“Best Burger in LA! Not one of the best, it is THE BEST. Their amazing sauce brings chicken/mushroom/beef burgers a touch of Japanese sweet flavor. Their decor is modern fusion that combines traditional Japanese design and bar scene.”
“I really liked the burger. It was a totally unique and awesome spin on the American classic. The pickled ginger, onions, wasabi sauce, and mushrooms are all a welcome and refreshing change in a burger muncher's diet.”
