You won’t see the words “no substitutions” on the menu at Caffe Carrera. Not a clam fan? Have your spaghetti alle vongole without (although we wouldn’t recommend it). If it’s tradition you favor, you can’t go wrong with the polpette (Sicilian-style meatloaf) or Daniele pizza with prosciutto, mozzarella, ricotta, parmesan, and basil.
