9-night Chile Trek and Sip Tour

Intermediate-level adventure includes six days of trekking and four nights accommodations in Santiago

Day 1:

Upon your arrival to Santiago’s international airport, a OneSeed staff member will be there to greet you and take you to a lovely bed and breakfast, located just a stone’s throw from La Moneda, Chile’s Presidential Palace. Catch up on some much needed sleep and settle into Chile’s capital city; includes private transfer from airport and accommodations.

Day 2:

After a restful night at our partner bed and breakfast, enjoy breakfast at your leisure before a full day to explore Santiago, one of Latin America’s most modern cities. Meet your fellow expedition members at tonight’s welcome dinner featuring traditional Chilean dishes and the national drink, Pisco. After dinner we’ll complete a final gear check before hitting the sack for the evening; includes accommodations, walking tour, and dinner.

Day 3:

Leave the metropolitan center of Santiago for Chile’s Lake District. After a short flight to Puerto Montt, you will be met by private transfer to head toward Petrohue at the head to the trail. The large glacier-formed valleys are filled with several enormous lakes, each with its own distinct form and coloration. Lush forests surround the entire area, contrasting spectacularly with the isolated peaks of the region’s drastic volcanic formations. Spend the night just minutes walking from the trailhead in a cozy refuge; includes breakfast, lunch, dinner, transfer, domestic flights, and park entry fee.

Day 4:

The group will load up for a quick boat ride to the beginning of the trail in El Rincon. Beginning with a view of Lago Todos Los Santos and the rocky peaks that surround it, head through open fields leading to lush forests and eventually arriving to Callao Hot Springs. Spend the night in a rustic lodge with access to these springs that keep a constant temperature of near 104 degrees; includes all meals, accommodations, and boat transportation.

Day 5:

The trip’s most challenging day. Climbing Cerro Cenizo, reach a spectacular viewpoint to see the verdant fields, lakes, and rock formations that make up this zone. Upon returning to the lodge, you can soak in the natural springs of Callao; includes all meals and accommodations.

Day 6:

Hike toward Laguna Los Quetros, a blue lake surrounded by rolling hills contrasted by abrupt peaks that may be covered by snow depending on the season. Our camp for the evening will be made near the lake; includes all meals and accommodations.

Day 7:

On the final leg of the trek, pass several private farms as we arrive at Lake Repunco in Las Gaviotas. From Las Gaviotas catch a boat to El Poncho where our private transfer will wait to take us back to Puerto Varas for a night of sleep before returning to Santiago; includes all meals, accommodations, and boat transport.

Day 8:

Upon returning to Santiago enjoy a free day to unwind from the trek and explore the bustling streets of the city; includes all meals, accommodations, and domestic flight.

Day 9:

Head out from the city to nearby wineries in Chile’s famous Maipo Valley. After an afternoon of wine tasting and a tour of a local winery return to Santiago for one last night; includes breakfast, farewell lunch, ground transportation, and accommodations.

Day 10:

Fly home on your international departure.
